Persons who refuse entry to temporary residential facilities or violate quarantine regulations shall be deported and banned from re-entering </li> <li>① Before entering Korea - COVID 19 negative result ▣ Facility Quarantine Agreement must be submitted to the airlines ※ Persons who refuse to sign the form will not be issued a boarding pass ▣ Persons from high-risk nations must prepare a negative COVID-19 PCR test result. This result should be issued within 48 hours before flight departure time by medical institutions designated by a local South Korean embassy. High-risk nations: Pakistan, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Philippines ※ Entry to Korea may be denied if a negative COVID-19 PCR test result is unavailable </li> <li>Arrival in Korea ② Airport Entry Screening ! Wearing a mask is required while moving to a temporary residential facility after arriving at an airport in Korea ▣ Check for fever with a thermal scanner, and measure individual body temperature ▣ Submit a completed health questionnaire ▣ Special Entry Procedure is implemented for symptomatic and asymptomatic cases of COVID-19 </li> <li>※ Special Entry Procedure for Symptomatic Cases. Symptomatic case - Positive(Undergo diagnostic test at airport) - Transfer to hospital or residential treatment center (HOSPITAL). Symptomatic case - Negative(Undergo diagnostic test at airport) - Quarantine at temporary residential facility </li> <li>※ Special Entry Procedure for Asymptomatic Cases ▣ Receive instructions for Quarantine Subjects ▣ Submit a travel record declaration form with contact information and address in Korea ! Entry is permitted only if provided contact number is verified Check the contact number of your hospital coordinator in advance</li> <li>Health Screening Certificate ▣ Install the self-quarantine safety protection app released by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety ▣ Persons entering from high-risk nations must submit a negative COVIĎ-19 PCR test result ▣ Receive health screening certificate and notice of quarantine</li> <li>③ Go to a Temporary Residential Facility ▣ Go to a temporary residential facility using a special transport vehicle provided by the Korean government </li> <li>! Allocation to a temporary residential facility designated by the Korean government is made on-site upon arrival. Any changes for personal reasons are not permitted once allocated </li> <li>Attention! Important Notice - Hospital Quarantine guidelines newly established for international patients (July 20 onwards) ※ Hospital quarantine is applied to eligible patients only if COVID-19 diagnostic test result tums out to be negative ▣ Eligibility. A. Holder of negative PCR test result for COVID-19 (within 72 hours of departure, 48 hours for high-risk nations) B. Patients who need cancer surgery, chemotherapy, transplantation, trauma treatment and deemed as suffering from equally severe conditions or patients who are declared by medical personnel as requiring urgent treatment </li> <li>C. Patients who have received the international patient certificate at the medical institution where an appointment has been confirmed ! Persons visiting for wellness purposes (beauty, plastic surgery, health check, etc.) or outpatients and inpatients suffering from minor ailments are not eligible for hospital quarantine. Make prior inquiry at your medical institution as some medical institutions may not have these guidelines implemented </li> <li>④ Check-In to a Temporary Residential Facility - Upon arrival at a facility, receive a fever check; move into a temporary residential facility if symptoms are not observed. - Check-in survey is conducted to collect information related to admission * Survey covers illnesses, allergies, and dietary preference (halal, vegetarian, etc.) ! Persons who fail to cooperate or violate quarantine regulations shall be deported pursuant to Article 46 of the Immigration Act and be prohibited from re-entering pursuant to Article 11 of the same Act </li> <li>- Receive identification check through passport scanning at reception - Pay temporary residential facility fee at payment counter * Pay by credit card or cash (KRW or USD) Payment of KRW 120,000 per night per person (KRW 1,680,000 for 14 days) Free for children under 4 years old, 50% for children under 12 years old. - In principle, a single room with an en-suite shower and toilet will be assigned to each individual. * Children aged below 12 or disabled persons requiring guardians, husband and wife or other family relations, and persons who have entered Korea as a group may choose to be assigned to the same room. - Delete self-quarantine safety protection app, and install self-check mobile app released by the Ministry of Health and Welfare * Check COVID-19-related health status through self check mobile app during quarantine period </li> <li>Attention! Important Notice. What is the self-check mobile app? 1) Allows self-check of health status in relation to COVID-19 2) Used in self-check at least once a day 3) Transferred to police if self-check result is not submitted for more than two days ! Available in Korean, English and Chinese </li> <li>- Facility quarantine instructions and education will be provided * Fulfill occupants' right to know by explaining reason for moving-in, purpose, and future schedule. - Self-check and 14-day quarantine begin after check-in to individual room * The quarantine period is 14 days, including the date of entry (e.g.) If you have entered Korea on September 1, you will be released from quarantine at 00:00 on September 15. - Conduct a COVID-19 diagnostic test within three days of check-in. * The cost of diagnostic tests is supported by the Korean government </li> <li>※ Services Provided in Temporary Residential Facility. - On-site medical personnel for health monitoring related to COVID-19. - 3 meals a day Snack, drinking water provided. - Interpretation services in English and other languages Available 24 hours). - Personal bedding and toiletries (Personal clothing should be prepared by the individual). - TV, internet, and emergency bell in each room. - Personal items can be ordered and brought in. ※ Check with facility manager before ordering parcel delivery as guidelines may vary by facility. </li> <li>※ Action Guidelines within Temporary Residential Facility. - Do not take medication to lower fever, such as paracetamol(Tylenol) and ibuprofen (Advil) if you have symptoms of COVID-19 (Immediately notify medical personnel, and receive the COVID-19 diagnostic test as instructed). - Always wear a face mask in public areas. - Do not move outside of individual room during quarantine period. - Avoid meeting outsiders and/or contact with other occupants during quarantine period </li> <li>No smoking in all facility areas. - Drinking of alcoholic beverages, smoking, and making loud noises are prohibited during quarantine period. - Damage and/or unauthorized removal of fixtures and equipment in temporary residential facility are prohibited. - Escape from temporary residential facility is prohibited (Persons found to be in violation shall face deportation) </li> <li>⑤ Check-Out from a Temporary Residential Facility ▣ Undergo heath education such as COVID-19 prevention guidelines. ▣ Move to hospital on a hospital-provided vehicle, and undergo treatment </li> Receive medical treatment safely in Korea before returning to your country </ol>
