2016년 대통령 시행령6호에 따라 인도네시아 보건부는 지속적으로 의료서비스 발전을 위해서 의료 공급자와 의료시설에 국내 의료기기의 사용을 권장하고 있다.

인도네시아 보건부는 국내 산업이 병원에 필요한 A급의 병원 소모품의 44.9 %를 사용하도록 문서화 했다. 합법적으로 국제 표준에 부합한 2,623개의 저렴한 국내 의료 기기가 있습니다. 이들 제품의 사용은 20 ~ 30 %만큼 의료 비용을 억제 할 수 있다. 인도네시아 국내 의료 기기 산업의 수는 다양한 제품을 2015년도에는 193개 facility에서 사용하던 것이 2016 년7월까지 201 시설에서 사용하는 것으로 집계되었다. 이러한 제품들은 병원 가구, 혈압계, 청진기, 손 장갑, 소변 카테터, 전기 의료 장치, 유아 인큐베이터, 상승 분무기, 산소발생기, 치과 의자, ECG, 태아 도플러, 주사기 펌프, 주입 펌프, 작동 램프, 피임 장치 (IUD와 콘돔),일회용 의료 기기 (주사기, 수술 용 봉합사, 소변 가방, 주입 세트, 마스크, 게이지, 면봉, 탄력 붕대, 밴드 에이드 등); 수술기구 (전공 및 부전공 세트) 의료 의류 (운영 가운, 침대 시트 등); 빠른 검사 (HIV 검사, 간염 검사, 임신 테스트, 약물 검사); 착색제 시약; 방부제; 살균제 등이 있는데, 이것을 국가적으로 확산시켜야 한다.

Chopping Off Imports, Medical Devices Industry Extensified

As instructed in President Decree Number 6 in 2016, Health Ministry continously encourages the utilization of domestic medical devices by healthcare providers and healthcare facilities for the sake of readiness of medical service. In JKN era, the demand for drugs and medical devices is forecasted to hike 2.5-3 times. In addition to social function, medical devices also possess economic values as promising comodities. The availability and accessibility of medical devices hugely relates to the ability of industry to fulfill the demand.

Health Ministry documented that domestic industry has met 44.9% of clas A hospital needs. There are 2,623 affordable domestic medical devices with international standards that are legally distributed in the market. The use of these products could suppress healthcare expense as much as 20-30%. The number of domestic medical devices industry in Indonesia rose from 193 facilities in 2015 to 201 facilities until July 2016. They produced a wide variety of products, from hospital furniture, sphygmomanometer, stethoscope, hand gloves, urine catheter, electromedical devices (infant incubator, nebulizer, O2 concentrator, dental chair, ECG, fetal doppler, syringe pump, infusion pump, operation lamp, etc); contraception devices (IUD and condom); disposable medical devices (syringes, surgical suture, urine bag, infusion set, mask, gauge, cotton swab, elastic bandage, band aid, etc); surgical instruments (major and minor set); medical apparels (operating gown, bed sheets, etc); rapid test (HIV test, hepatitis test, pregnancy test, drug tests); colorant reagents; antiseptic; sterilizator; etc. Higher quality
