Goal

Development of novel biomarkers, exercise and nutrition prescriptions for muscle function improvement, and innovative therapies for quantitative and qualitative muscle enhancement, leading to the creation of integrated treatment approaches.

Development of the world’s first sarcopenia treatment enabling independent living by simultaneously improving lean body mass, muscle function, and physical performance with 6-month (24-week) administration
Development of technologies to accelerate commercialization of digital medical products capable of enhancing muscle mass, strength, and function simultaneously

Problem

No approved treatments for sarcopenia currently exist.

Most therapies under development focused solely on increasing muscle mass
Need for development of sarcopenia treatments and digital medical products capable of simultaneously restoring and improving muscle mass, strength, and function for qualitative enhancement

Innovation

Biomarker discovery using domestic and international cohort data combined with the development of therapeutics to combat musculoskeletal aging.

Unlike existing methods that show significant improvement only in muscle mass, this approach applies a combination of diverse interventions to achieve meaningful enhancement of muscle function.
