Goal

Development of future-oriented innovative biohealth medical technologies to solve healthcare challenges unmet or unaddressed by existing medical technologies and to prepare for the upcoming new space era.

Problem

Although the space environment is gaining attention as a next-generation field for overcoming methodological limitations on Earth, strategic support in areas other than launch vehicle technology remains insufficient in Korea.

Innovation

Overcoming global healthcare challenges through the space environment, registration of innovative medical technologies, and final demonstration in outer space.

Utilization

Research and treatment technologies for diseases in the space environment represent a new research approach conducted under extreme conditions, distinct from conventional Earth-based methods, enabling the development of treatment technologies for unresolved healthcare challenges on Earth.

Goal

Developing a 3D Vital Node capable of real-time, high-precision monitoring with an all-in-one sensor

Problem

Inadequate system for precision diagnosis and early response due to limitations in the accuracy, real-time capability, and continuity of non-invasive sensing technology

Innovation

Proposing real-time, ultra-high-resolution analysis at the single-molecule level through new physical and optical technologies such as quantum sensors, nano-optics, and metasurfaces
