저는 글로벌 보건, 산업정책, 국제 사업개발 분야에서 풍부한 경험을 보유한 바이오의약품 분야 임원이자 경제학자입니다.

저는 대한무역투자진흥공사(KOTRA) 상파울루 무역관에서 8년간 근무하며, 브라질 내 헬스케어 산업을 담당하였습니다. 이 기간 동안 한국 제약·바이오 기업의 브라질 시장 진출 전략 수립, 파트너십 개발, 규제 대응을 지원하였으며, 이를 통해 한-브라질 협력에 대한 깊은 이해와 양국 산업 생태계에 대한 전문성을 갖추게 되었습니다.

현재는 제조기업, 연구기관, 정책 입안자를 연결하는 다양한 이니셔티브를 주도하고 있으며, 특히 글로벌 사우스 지역에서 바이오의약품 생산 역량 강화, 공급망 안정성 확보, 원료의약품(API) 생산 확대에 중점을 두고 있습니다. 또한 신흥 시장에서 데이터 가시성을 향상시키고 전략적 파트너십을 촉진하기 위한 국제 플랫폼 개발에도 참여하고 있습니다.

I am a biopharmaceutical executive and economist with extensive experience in global health, industrial policy, and international business development.

I worked for 8 years at KOTRA São Paulo (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency), where I was responsible for the healthcare sector in Brazil, supporting Korean pharmaceutical and biotech companies in their market entry strategies, partnership development, and regulatory navigation. This experience provided me with a strong foundation in Korea–Brazil collaboration and a deep understanding of both ecosystems.

Currently, I lead initiatives connecting manufacturers, research institutions, and policymakers, with a particular emphasis on strengthening biopharmaceutical production capabilities, supply chain resilience, and API production across the Global South. I am also involved in the development of international platforms aimed at improving data visibility and enabling strategic partnerships in emerging markets.

My expertise includes advising organizations on market entry strategies, cross-border partnerships, and alignment with public health and industrial policy priorities, especially in Latin America and BRICS countries.
