The ultimate goal of the smart hospital is to enhance the quality of medical services and improve the patient experience.

Objectives for Building and Expanding Smart Hospitals

  • Short Term

    To improve “patient safety and the quality of healthcare services” by digitally transforming hospitals and engaging both patients and healthcare professionals.

  • Mid to Long Term

    To realize "Person-Centered Healthcare (PCH)" by digitally integrating various aspects of the healthcare field and collaborating with the local community.

Roles of Smart Hospital Center - Operational Monitoring (Continuously monitor the performance of smart hospitals, identify operational issues arising after implementing smart hospital models), Advanced Impact Analysis (Enhance data-driven impact assessment and analysis), Tailored Dissemination Support (Dissemination consulting and user education customized to unique circumstances of each hospital), Enhancing Public Awareness (Build smart hospital websites and provide information, produce promotional videos, and awareness-enhancing education), Support for Smart Hospital Model Development (Develop, establish, and demonstrate smart hospital models for smart hospitals)
