The annual health spending growth rate dropped by 6% both in 2010 and 2011 after a yearly growth rate of more than 9% between 2000 and 2009.

Cause of death

Main causes of death in 2012 are cancers, circulatory diseases, respiratory diseases, endocrine&metabolic diseases, etc. The death rate of cancers have high incident in lung, liver and stomach cancers. The death rate of respiratory diseases like cardiac disorders, cerebrovascular diseases, and hypertensive diseases have constantly increased since 2010.

Cancer : 41%, Circulatory system : 32%, Others : 12%, Respiratory system : 8%, Endocrine&Metabolic : 7%
