The BIO
Latin America 2019, the conference for innovation and collaboration in
biotechnology and life sciences in Latin America, organized by BIO (the largest
trade association in the world represents biotechnology companies, academic
institutions, state biotechnology centers, and related organizations around the
world) and Biominas (a private institution whose mission is to create business
impact on life sciences in Brazil) will take place on 3th and 4th September at
the Grand Hyatt Hotel, São Paulo / Brazil.
In the
2019 edition, there are expected to be around 700 participants, including
senior executives, industry leaders, policy makers, entrepreneurs, academics
and investors.
BIO
Latin America is one of the largest life sciences events in Latin America and
an opportunity to establish new business as well as understand the dynamics of
the Brazilian and Latin American market in general.
The
theme of this edition will be "Innovation & Partnering to Leverage
Bioeconomy in Latin America" and there will be panels and debate
sessions focused on the challenges of the sector for Latin America.
In
addition, the BIO Partnering system known to the American organization will be
a key tool used during the event.
This
year will also feature an Arena of Innovation, where companies mostly startups
still anticipate the future of the biotechnology market.
