The 1st Korea Healthcare Promotion UCC Contest

❐ Purpose

  

o To promote the excellence of Korea's healthcare to the world and expand its global brand recognition.

  

❐ Summary of contest

  

o (Organizer) KHIDI (Korea Health Industry Development Institute)

  

o (Participants) Koreans and Non-Koreans (Individually or in a group)

* Each participant can submit up to two contents

  

o (Theme) Anything related to the excellence of Korea's healthcare

* Touching and inspiring stories are suggested (entries with simple parody are not recommended)

(Themes)

  

1) Promotion of Brand Recognition of "Medical Korea"

- Introducing amenities and services for medical tourists in Korea

(Medical Korea Information Center, Prayer Room, Multilingual Signs, Leaflets, Diverse Meal Options for Inpatients, Etc)

- Introducing world-class medical staffs, techniques

  

2) Experiences/Testimonials

- Experiences in "Medical Charity Program"*

- Medical tourist's testimonials for Korea's medical services

- Examples of kind services from Korean hospitals

  

3) Policies or systems for support of medical tourists attraction

- Easy-to-learn refund system for value-added tax

  

* KHIDI may provide assistance in contacting medical institutions in case contents are related to "Medical Charity Program"

  

  

o (Specifications) Any genres of digital UCC including documentaries, storytelling, CF, promotional videos, animations less than two minutes in length

* 1280x720 pixels or above, file format - MP4

o Timetable for the contest

Winners will be individually notified and posted on the website of KHIDI

Award Ceremony

During June 2016

* Details of award and award ceremony will be announced separately

* The schedule for winner announcement may change depending on the reviewing schedule

* The 2nd Korea Healthcare Promotion UCC contest will be held in September, 2016.

 

❐ How to apply

  

o Online submission through website or via email (non-koreans only)

* Winners are required to submit original video file

* All video entries must be uploaded to YouTube for review, and will be required to provide the URL link to the video

  

❐ Evaluation and Award

  

o Evaluation Criteria:

Creativity (20 points), Publicness (20 points), Expressiveness (20 points), Global Usability (30 points), Popularity (10 points)*

* Reflects the number of views and likes on Youtube
