□ Caution for Organization Impersonation Fraud
To Whom it may concern,
Recently, there has been a case of fraud impersonating the Korea Health Industry Development Institute
(KHIDI, hereafter) in South Africa.
The suspect accessed through the SNS (LinkedIn) under the title of Director of Procurement at KHIDI seeking for an agent to purchase minerals on his behalf, requesting for a deposit to be made in visa processing cost.
Our institution is not engaged in any business with South Africa presently, and there is no person with the title of Director of Procurement.
lease keep this in mind and be careful to avoid any damage or harm.
KHIDI has requested the closure of the person’s account to LinkedIn in connection with this incident, and is trying to prevent any damage by investigation conducted by LinkedIn's Korean agency.
