🩸The next generation of screening—detecting multiple cancers through a single blood draw—is preparing to integrate into our public healthcare system.
On May 12th, the K-Health MIRAE Initiative and the National Cancer Center co-hosted the 83rd Cancer Conquest Forum. At the event, we shared the roadmap for MCED(Multi-Cancer Early Detection) integration into institutional healthcare and presented interim milestones of Project CANDI (CANcer Detection Innovations).
Project CANDI aims to advance MCED performance specifically for 10 major cancers prevalent in Koreans, while developing cost-effective and rapid diagnostic technologies to eliminate screening blind spots.
How close are we to seeing MCED listed on the next National Cancer Screening Program?
🩸단 한 번의 채혈로 여러 암을 동시에 찾아내는 'MCED(Multi-Cancer Early Detection 다중암 조기발견)' 기술이 공공 의료 체계 안으로 들어올 준비를 시작했습니다.
